Come Celebrate With Us!
Twenty Years. Wow! It was Early Spring 2000 when our founders Konrad and Heather Pass sat down with Dick and Rosemary Gill and Stew and Jean Fife to gather together fellow Chris Craft enthusiasts to celebrate all that is Chris Craft. The Canadian Chris Craft Rendezvous was born with our first event held at Maple Bay Marina on June 10 – 11, 2000. What a turn out we had with thirty-five boats in attendance. Some of the boats and people who attended the first rendezvous are still attending our rendezvous. What fun times! We cannot believe it has been Twenty Years! And, we are set to continue our Celebration!
The CCCR committee would like to invite all the fellow Chris Craft Skippers & Crew as well as past rendezvous attendees to join us for this special TWENTY YEAR Rendezvous.
Once again we are booked for July at the beautiful Telegraph Harbour Marina on Thetis Island. Please contact them at your earliest convenience to confirm your moorage.
We have many special events planned. You do not want to miss this one! A warm welcome will be given to all participants, so please don't let the condition of your vessel stop you from attending the rendezvous. No matter how big or small, how old or new, or what condition your vessel may be in, all are welcome! We encourage everyone to attend, as we look forward to seeing many types of Chris Crafts. This is a great opportunity to share cruising tales, ideas and the famous stories from the bilge with your fellow Chris Craft Custodians!
MAMA MIA! For our 20th Anniversary we have added a very special event that we hope you will enjoy! In the lovely village of Chemainus (which is a short Ferry ride away from Telegraph Harbour), we have a limited number of tickets you can purchase at a discounted rate to join us for the show MAMA MIA! The show is on 18 July at 7pm. The cost is at a special, discounted rate of $ 59.00 (Canadian) or $ 44.25 (USD) per person and we cannot hold tickets past 30 May. If you would like to join us, please indicate on your registration form and include the ticket cost with your registration fee. Chemainus Municipal Marina is ready to welcome us for the evening or you can book into Telegraph Harbour Marina and take the ferry over. This will be a fun event and we hope you will join us.
The rendezvous will be held July 19th, 20th and 21nd at the Telegraph Harbour Marina on Thetis Island. The registration fee is $30.00 ($22.50 US) per vessel. If you are joining us for MAMA MIA! Please add $59.00 ($44.25 US) to your registration. Please send your registration and cheque payable to:
“Dave Peebles” 5144 – 209 A Ave., Langley, BC, Canada V3A 7K8
Please register by MAY 30th 2019 and if you can indicate that you are planning to come via email at your earliest convenience so we can plan events and order enough skipper packages in advance that would be fantastic. Also available to register on word document and forward to Dave Peebles
Please remember that it is the responsibility of each attendee to contact the Telegraph Harbour Marina and make a reservation for your boat. Call the marina at 1-800-246-6011 to make your reservation. Be sure to tell them you are with the Chris Craft group. You must do this no later June 30, 2019 to be sure of securing a spot but we urge you to do it as soon as possible. In the unfortunate event that your plans change, you can always cancel up to 48hrs prior to your planned arrival.
